There is hereby incorporated by the governing body of the City of Bird City, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations with regard to housing, the 1978 Basic Housing code published by the Building Officials and Code Administrations International, Inc., 1313 East Sixtieth Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637.

There shall be not less than three (3) copies of the standard code as adopted by this article kept in the office of the City Clerk and said copies shall be marked “Official Copy of the City of Bird City, Kansas, Housing Code.”
